About me. . .I was born in Seattle, WA but I currently live on Long Island, New York. I grew up on a small farm in Ohio and I currently work on an educational farm running the agriculture education department. I love to create and started sculpting with clay in the early 1990s. But, a few years ago I switched mediums and started sculpting with wool. I also hook rugs and still love to work with clay when I get a chance. Last year I had the opportunity to take a sheep shearing seminar, so now I have completed the entire process--from fleece to sculpture! Combined with my love of all things funky, kitschy and vintage I think I have found my creative outlet. Hope you like it.
I just taught a Spring class at the Brentwood library. We made flower baskets! Check out all the different ways the participants interpreted the theme. . .
